Hi at that place, Firstly i capeesh that this has been discussed on numerous other forum entries and there are numerous guides online to fixing the consequence but I take tried them all and nothing works. Its a new build specs as follows:

CPU: Ryzen 7 1800x
Mobo: GA-AX370 K7 Gaming
Ram: G-skill F4-2400C16-16GFXR
GPU: Radeon RX 480 8gb
Bone SSD: Samsung 950 pro 512 GB
PSU: Corsair 750 gold

Whats the problem: following make clean install of graphics drivers when clicking on Radeon settings I get an error message maxim "Radeon settings are currently unavailable. Delight try once again afterwards connecting AMD graphics". In the device director the brandish driver is showing an fault 43 code and says the driver has been stopped due to an consequence.

What I have tried so far:
- Safe mode, uninstall drivers using DDU, restart in normal mode fresh install or latest AMD drivers (tried Adrenaline and Crimson drivers neither work)
- Safe mode, uninstall drivers via device manager, let windows install latest drivers.
- Advanced start fashion, disable enforce driver signatures, uninstall drivers using both windows device director and DDU, clean install of latest drivers.
- same steps as higher up for the uninstall and then employ Driver Talent to locate and endeavour to fix driver issues - interestingly Driver Talent recommends a much older Crimson driver 17.seven.two. Doesnt work though...

I am literally pulling my hair out. never had such epic commuter bug and its eaten up almost of my weekend. Whatever help would exist much appreciated!

Cheers,
Chris

one more thing to note, I am currently utilising a HDMI to DVI cable although unsure if that is relevant as the message seems to indicate that the driver is not recognising the card every bit an AMD Graphics card.

OK - no answers from the community but for anyone looking for a solution here is my temporary fix:

Windows x update service attempts to update the graphics driver to a version that doesn't seem to be compatible with my organisation. I as well accept been unable to get the last version of Scarlet to work or the new Adrenaline drivers by doing the instal manually later cleaning the system with DDU, so have contacted AMD most this and await a response. My short term fix is as follows:

i. modify windows protocols to stop windows update from downloading drivers (need windows 10 pro). Steps for this are as follows:

one) Run "gpedit.msc" > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Device Installation > Device Installation Restrictions > "Forbid installation of devices that match any of these device IDs" 2) Enter the device ID of the device for which you don't desire any updates to be installed. The device ID can be institute trough Device Manager > [your device] > Backdrop > Details > Hardware IDs.

2. in safe manner uninstall all previous versions of AMD drivers using DDU.

iii. restart system in normal fashion and install drivers. I take had to curlicue dorsum significantly, the merely driver I have constitute to be working correctly and giving me all of the features is Non-WHQL-Win10-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-16.ten.iii-Oct27

For the moment this commuter is working and allowing me to become my new organization set up in the meantime while I wait for AMDs response. If anyone has experience getting the RX 480 to work on a more upwardly to date driver it would be much appreciated if you could answer.

Cheers
